Decorative Concrete

Stamped Concrete
Stamped (Imprinted) Concrete may be colored and textured in many different ways.
Stamped Concrete is designed to resemble stone, brick, or tile, but can be installed
much more cost effectively. Stamped concrete surface can be imprinted into any new
concrete or onto an existing slab using an overlay. Decorative stamped concrete patios
are our most requested decorative concrete.

Stenciled Concrete
Stenciled concrete pattern is achieved by using a pre-cut paper stencil laid in the concrete
surface to make an impression to represent the mortar joints in a faux stone or brick pattern.
Assorted colors can be used in the concrete itself, and with colors being applied to the surface.
Stencil patterns are used to transform ordinary concrete into a decorative patterned design. Tile, brick, cobblestone, rock, or slate are some of the possible finishes.

Acid Stained Concrete
Acid Staining is a coloring process involving a chemical reaction on a cement material.
A solution made with water, acid and inorganic salts reacts with minerals already
present in the concrete; the result of this reaction is color. Acid Stains give concrete
a mottled, variegated, marble-like look, every one different. Variations of colors
and mottling are to be expected and enjoyed
.

Concrete Overlays | Concrete Resurfacing
Decorative concrete overlays and toppings are popular as a durable and cost
effective
way to enhance or repair the look of existing concrete. When existing
concrete needs a
face-lift, decorative concrete overlays or resurfacing are
alternatives to costly and disruptive removal and replacement.

Polished Concrete
Exposing the aggregate in the concrete creates unusual  surface patterns. This is done
by progressively grinding the surface, using finer and finer grinding pads, to bring out
the distinctive colors and shapes of the aggregate. This process results in a highly
polished concrete surface finish. In some instances  special decorative aggregates are
used in the concrete mix, such as marble, plastic or glass.

Brick Paver Inlays
Paver Inlays are actual concrete brick pavers set in new concrete, most often in a
"soldier course "along the edges of a new concrete driveway, patio, or sidewalk.
Because
they are set in the concrete, they will not move or grow grass thru them.
Brick pavers
set in concrete for as solid, long lasting, realistic, look  to "dress up" Gray Concrete, and is generally much cheaper than Stamped Concrete or Stenciled  Concrete.

"I looked online for a Concrete Contractor in our area to pour a Decorative Stamped Concrete Patio and Sidewalk,
and found WCS. I requested a bid, and was called within 15 Minutes by Mike from WCS. He took my info, and later
that day I had local contractors calling me to give me bids on my job. We now have a beautiful, Slate Stamped
Patio and Walk.  Thanks Mike & Wisconsin Concrete Service."
